Which specimen type is recommended?

Whole blood(venipuncture/fingerstick), serum, and plasma are all acceptable; follow collection protocols strictly for optimal results. Fingerstick whole blood should be tested immediately.

What does a faint test line mean?

Any visible colored line in the Test line (IgM/IgG/NS1) indicates a positive result, as intensity varies with antigen/antibody concentration.

When is the best time to use this test?

The test is most effective for early detection, as NS1 antigen is detectable in the blood 1-9 days after fever onset.
